Locus does not make you rebuild a calculation for every target. Create rifle and ammunition profiles, set atmosphere and wind, then keep distances, individual wind values and corrections visible together. When the terrain or wind changes, the solution changes with it.
Every target can carry its own wind. Locations group targets for fast switching. A Kestrel meter can provide weather over Bluetooth — useful when conditions are moving faster than a handwritten note.

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Ballistic Calculator ("the Application," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our ballistic calculation software. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Because the Application does not collect any personal data, this policy is straightforward: your data stays on your device.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
The Application does not collect, process, transmit, or store personal identifiers; location data or GPS coordinates; device identifiers; usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry data; input data entered into the calculator; photos, files, or other device content; or payment and financial information.
3. How the Application Works
All ballistic calculations — including trajectory estimation, wind drift, drop compensation, velocity, and energy computations — are performed entirely on your local device. No data is sent to external servers during normal operation. The Application does not require an internet connection to function, and no network requests are made during use.
4. Data Storage
Settings, configurations, and profiles you save within the Application are stored exclusively on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device and remains under your control. You may delete it at any time by clearing the Application's data or uninstalling the Application.
5. Third-Party Services
The Application does not integrate with, embed, or communicate with third-party analytics services, advertising networks, social media platforms, or cloud services. No third-party SDKs that collect personal data are included in the Application.
6. Children's Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect information from any user, including children under 13. Because we collect no data, the Application complies with COPPA and equivalent regulations by design.
7. Permissions
The Application requests only the minimum permissions necessary for its core functionality. Any requested permissions are used solely for local on-device operations and are never used to transmit data externally.
8. Security
Because the Application collects no personal data, there is no personal data at risk of breach through our systems. Data stored locally is protected by your device's own security mechanisms.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date and, where appropriate, notify users through the Application. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Your Rights
Because we do not collect or hold personal data about you, there is no personal data for us to provide, correct, export, or delete upon request. You retain full ownership and control of data stored locally on your device.
